Courtney King

Congratulations to Courtney King for achieving a 1st in Fine Art and for continuing her studies at Goldsmiths. Without a doubt Courtney has worked very hard!

We are so glad to hear that the Young Curators Programme helped to boost your confidence. Whilst applying your skills to projects outside of the classroom can be daunting at first, you gain valuable experience that naturally improves your confidence. You are also well supported by your peers and arts award advisers who help you through working outside of your comfort zone.

We wish Courtney all the best in her studies and what she gets up to next!

See below for Courtney’s full statement 🙂

“Since finishing the Young Curators program, I have now graduated from Loughborough University with a First in Fine Art. I am now continuing my studies at Goldsmiths University studying MFA Curating.
The Young Curators was an encouraging environment that helped me to be more confident in myself, and to push my art and curatorial practices even further. I am now able to work on my own individual and collaborative projects. One of the most recently collaboration project is ‘View Through Window’ @window.drawing: an accessible online project to share what we spend most of our days seeing. To encourage creativity during this social distancing.”
